Do you want to learn how to draw a cartoon bunny rabbit from the wilderness? I have put together a step-by-step tutorial that will help you figure out how to draw bunnies by using simple shapes to build up their form. This is an easy cartooning tutorial that kids, teens, and adults will enjoy. Even some younger children might be able to draw bunny rabbits if you stand by to help with the instructions. Enjoy!
How to Draw Bunnies with Easy Bunny Rabbits Drawing Lesson
Step 1
Start the bunny rabbit drawing out by making an oval.
Step 2
Now draw a smaller oval (egg-shaped) on the top right of the bigger oval…this will be the bunny rabbit’s head.
Step 3
Now draw a circle on the back side of the bigger oval (for the bunny’s tail). Also draw 2 bunny ears on top of the smaller oval (head). The 2 ears sort of look like a letter ‘m’.
Step 4
Now draw a circle for the eye and a smile at the bottom of the rabbit’s face. At the bottom of the bigger oval draw a number ‘2’ like shape and then a capital letter ‘L’ like shape….these will help you draw the bunny’s 2 legs that are closest.
Step 5
Now just erase lines that you don’t need and darken the lines that you are going to keep. Also draw some lines for the rabbit’s fur. In darker areas, such as between the 2 legs and behind the back leg and in the back ear, you will want to draw in shadows. Draw lines that are really close together for the shadows. For the rabbit’s nose draw a capital letter ‘L’ like shape. Draw 4 curved lines for the whiskers and draw 4 whiskers above the eyes too. How does your bunny rabbit look?
