How to Draw a Canary with Step by Step Tutorial to Drawing Canaries

Step 1

Firstly, lightly draw a circle and an oval shape as seen above.

Step 2

Now attach those 2 shapes with a line. Also draw 2 triangles at the bottom, back end. Also draw stick figure legs and claws.

Step 3

Draw a circle eye and a circle white highlight.  Draw a line in the beak and 2 lines for the twig that the canary is sitting upon.

Start putting in some details.

Notice how much the canary is taking shape just by adding some more feathery textures.

Add mass to the stick figure legs.
