I love hearing about the drawing process of other artists....I think it would be fun to hear what steps you take before you sit down and draw your masterpieces. :) Forums: |

The first thing I need is a strike of inspiration. Sometimes it pops randomly into my head, while other times I get it from doodling (usually it's from doodling :P) Once inspiration hits me on the head, I literally rush for my sketch book and my art supplies. Sometimes I work with pencil while other times I work with pastels. Here's something a bit strange about me. If I'm working with pencil, I want complete silence, yet if I'm working with pastel, I talk alot to my brother and sister. Maybe it's the colors, who knows? Either way, after a bit less than an hour, I have a pencil/ color masterpiece. |
