Easter time is coming up and I thought that you guys might want to learn how to draw a cartoon Jesus Christ to draw on your Easter cards. Follow the illustrated, step by step instructions below and you will be drawing Jesus in no time. Happy Easter!
How to Draw Cartoon Jesus Christ for Easter Step by Step Drawing Lessons
Firstly, draw a circle for Jesus’ face. Then draw a cross in the center of the face to place the facial features. Draw ovals for the eyes….a curved line for the nose and mouth. Draw a letter ‘c’ for each ear.
Draw slanty rectangles for eye brows. Draw a curved line over each eye for the lids. Draw a letter ‘w’ like shape under the mouth for the shape of the bears….then draw a heart-like shape for the outside of the beard.
Draw a rectangle for the body…as it nears the beard….slant the lines towards the face. Draw curvy lines for the arms. Draw 2 ovals for the hand and thum.
Draw Jesus’ hair line.
Draw a letter ‘u’ for each foot. Draw 3 lines in each foot for the toes. Draw the strap on each sandal.
Now finish the details of Jesus…such as a circle behind his head for a halo.
Colorize Jesus for Your Easter Cards
Now use watercolors, colored pencils, markers, or crayons to color in Jesus’ body. Happy Easter!
