Today we will show you how to draw a Mama and Baby Horse (aka Mare and Foal) grazing in the fields. Horses are very hard to draw so don’t get discouraged if you still can’t draw horses after this. Below you will find step by step drawing instructions. Follow this to draw your own horses scene.
Start drawing the Mama Horse’s head by drawing a circle and a smaller circle connected by 2 lines.
Then draw guidelines around the bigger circle to help you place the eye. Draw the edges of the horse’s head with more detail now.
Notice where the eye starts in relation to the guidelines that you drew. Draw the horse’s body with 2 ovals connected by lines. Also attach the head to the body with 2 neck lines.
Draw more of the eye’s details. Draw the details of the ears by drawing ovals and a triangle…to make up the shape of the actual ears. Start drawing the horse’s mane.
Start drawing the baby horse (foal) with 2 ovals and a triangle.

This looks a lot harder than the other horse tutorials u have posted! I don’t like the way it zooms in and out :(

This is very good, as a horse drawer myself i decided to try this out to see how other people draw horses, and trust me its different! This tutorial suits more experienced drawers best.
