How to Draw Master Crane from Kung Fu Panda 1 and 2 in Easy Steps Tutorial

Step 1A

Lightly sketch a curved line with an oval drawn at the bottom and a circle drawn at the top of the curve. Also draw an upside down triangle above the top circle.

Step 1 B

Now lightly draw a thin oval on top of the top circle. Draw 2 ovals over top the bottom oval that was drawn in the last step. Then draw a long line and a short line.

Step 1C 

Now lightly draw ovals along the lines. Draw a second line on the right leg…so that both lines together resemble a letter ‘V’. On the right foot, draw a bubble letter ‘J’ that is on its side. On the left foot…draw 2 ovals connected by 2 curved lines. Draw 2 triangles for the beak on the face.

Step 1D

Now we will lightly draw the basic shapes of the wings so that the character will finally resemble a crane. For the top wing…draw a moon shape…and for the bottom wing, draw a sideways capital letter D that is curved more along the edges. Now you have the skeleton outline that will help you draw Master Crane correctly.

Step 2

Now draw in some details of the hat, face, beak and neck.

Step 3

Now draw in details of the wings.

Step 4

Next, draw body, legs and tail.

Step 5

Finish up with feathers details.

Step 6
