Today we will show you how to draw a simple sidewalk scene in a city. Learn how to draw this sidewalk scene with the following simple step to step lesson.
How to Draw a Cartoon City Street Sidewalk Scene with Easy Step by Step Drawing Tutorial
Step 1
First you need to draw the wall by drawing a backwards letter ‘L’ shape on the right side of the paper.
Step 2
Draw the sidewalk by drawing two lines that are about the side angle as the line and one across. Then lightly draw a rectangle that you might need to erase a bit (poster on the wall).
[ad#draw]
Step 3
We roughened the rectangle a bit by making it a little mess perfect. Draw a backwards curvy letter ‘E’ shape for the corner of the sidewalk. Then start drawing the lamp and the fire hydrant by drawing moon like shapes and letter ‘C’ shapes.
Step 4
Follow the illustraion above to continue drawing the lamp and the fire hydrant. Then write or scribble some text on the rectangle poster.
Step 5
Draw some imperfect ovals and rectangles for bricks and stones. Then continue drawing the fire hydrant by drawing letter ‘C’ like shapes and two lines for the lamp pole.
Step 6
Complete the fire hydrant and add details to the bottom of the lamp. Lets start drawing the buildings in the background. I broke up the shapes so you can see that complicated shapes are built from simple shapes.
Step 7
Continue the buildings in the background by drawing shapes and then start drawing the top of the lamp.
Step 8
Continue drawing the buildings in the background and the lamp shade.
Step 9
Complete the buildings in the background and the lamp shape. The blue boxes are where we are easing…you will see it in the finished drawing.
