How to Draw a Cartoon Boy in a Winter Hat with Simple Shapes

It is so cold out today so I thought I would teach you how to draw a little boy bundled up in a winter hat. If you can draw letters, numbers, and simple shapes, then you will be able to follow this drawing lesson. Every stroke is something that you will be able to draw.  How to Draw a Cartoon Boy in a Winter Hat with Simple Shapes, Letters, and Numbers

 Step 1

Start off by drawing an upside down ? shape.

Step 2

Next, draw a sideways letter ‘J’ shape.

Step 3

Now draw a letter ‘C’ shape on the right side of the drawing. Draw a sideways letter ‘U’ shape at the top for the brim of the hat.

 Step 4

Now draw a sideways letter ‘T’ shape.

 step 5

Now draw a big winter hat by drawing a letter rounded letter ‘A’ shape. Draw a sideways letter ‘J’ shape for the boy’s smile.

Step 6

Draw a curved line under the smile for the lower lip. Draw a dot for the eye and a curved line above it for the brow. Draw a letter ‘s’ shape for  the hair.

Step 7

Next, draw an upside down letter ‘v’ shape for more hair.

 Step 8

Now draw an ear by drawing a backwards letter ‘C’ shape with a ‘?’ shape inside of it. Then draw an oval at the base of the drawing.

 Step 9

Now, draw an upside down ‘? shape.

 Step 10

Now draw a sideways letter ‘S’ shape.

 Step 11

Now draw a letter ‘L’ shape.

 Step 12

Draw a line. Then draw a ‘?’ shape that connects to the oval collar. Also draw a backwards #5 shape.

Step 13

Now lightly sketch a sideways #8 shape (or 2 ovals).

 Step 14

Now draw three #3 shapes.

 Step 15

now connect them with slightly upward curved lines.

 Step 16

On the top of the hat, draw a few #3 shapes for the pom-pom ball.

Now erase all the lines that you don’t need, as seen above. Darken the lines and maybe use a pen or marker to outline it. Also add your own special touches to make it personal to you.
