How to Draw a Snowflake Step by Step Drawing Tutorial
Step 1
Lightly draw a sideways letter ‘X’ shape, as seen above.
Step 2
Now draw a vertical line thru it.
Step 3
Now draw letter ‘V’ shapes on each line, all around the shape, as seen above. I highlighted each ‘V’ in another color just to show you each ‘V’.
Step 4
Now draw another letter ‘V’ shape further up on each line, as seen above.
Step 5
And draw yet another letter ‘V’ shape further up on each line.
Step 6
And draw a letter ‘V’ in the other direction, forming an arrow shape on each line.
Step 7
Now think of the lines that you just drew as the skeleton or stick figure of the snowflake. You are now going to outline the shape. In the picture above, I have started to outline the shape.
Step 8
This is what the shape should look like after you outline it.
Finished Snowflake Design
Now erase the guidelines so that your snowflake now looks like the shape above. I hope you like how your snowflake turned out!
