How to Draw Cartoon Reindeers with Christmas Bell and Ornament

Here is another Christmas reindeer for you to draw. This one is also a cartoon reindeer, but this one stands up and holds on to a Christmas bell and Christmas tree ornament. Learn how to draw him with easy step by step drawing instructions. Color his nose red to make him Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.

Simple Cartoon Reindeer with Christmas Ornament and Bell

Step 1

Lightly draw 2 ovals in the shape of a #8.

Step 2

Now outline the entire thing so that it now looks like a pear or an eggplant. You can now erase the inside of the shape.

Step 3

Now draw 3 ovals…2 eyes and 1 nose.

Step 4

Now add a smile and 2 circles.

Step 5

Now draw 2 leaf shaped ears.

Step 6

Lightly draw a letter ‘V’ shape on top of the head.

Step 7

Draw a few lines along this shape…you can also add 2 smaller letter ‘v’ shapes. You don’t have to put the lines where I put them…it is up to you where you place them.

Step 8

Now use these as guidelines for drawing the antlers. Just outline them with rounded edges, as seen above. You can then erase the guide lines (the lines that are blue in my drawing).

Step 9

Lightly draw an oval for the body.

Step 10

Draw letter ‘D’ shaped hooves.

Step 11

Draw letter ‘P’ shapes for arms.

Step 12

– Draw letter ‘C’ shapes around neck.

– Draw a smaller oval within the stomach.

– Draw a curved line to make the letter ‘P’ shapes (from the last step) arms.

Step 13

Draw a few circles.

Step 14

Draw a few inward curved lines…and an oval.

Step 15

Add a few more details.

Finished Cartoon Reindeer

Now erase all guidelines and darken any lines that are important. You can also color in the reindeer if you want to.
