Learn how to draw a baby-version (chibi-version) of minions from Despicable Me! This cartoon-ish version of a minion won’t be too hard for you to draw. I broke the guide down into simple steps that I know you will be able to follow. If you love Minions – you are going to love this baby minion!!!

You Might Also Like Our Other Despicable Me Drawing Lessons
– Draw a Twinkie-like shape…sort of like a rectangle with rounded corners.
– (optional) draw guidelines thru the center of the figure.
– Draw 2 circles to form a sideways #8-like shape.
– Draw an oval for the top of the pants.
– Draw circles and ovals inside the glasses.
– Draw curved lines to attach the oval to the pants.
– Draw a sideways, capital letter E-shape for the legs.
– For the oval that we highlighted red in the last step – instead of outlining it in a dark black line – just lightly color in a gray shadow on the outside of the shape (as seen above).
– Draw a brown circle for the eyes and (even though I colored it red) draw a black oval inside the brown one.
– Draw 2 lines for each arm.
– Draw an oval for each foot.
– Draw a curved line above each side of the goggles.
– Draw a capital, letter ‘E’ shape on the left side of the glasses.
– Draw another oval inside the eyes – this will be the highlight of his eyes.
– Draw another curved line in the goggles.
– Draw a few letter ‘J’ shapes, as seen above.
– Draw a letter ‘C’ shape for each hand.
– Draw the hair as sideways, letter ‘M’-like shapes.
– Draw a #3-like shape on each hand.
– Draw the straps of his overalls.
– Draw a sideways, capital letter ‘D’ shape for the pocket.
– Inside the pocket, draw 2 circles.

– Draw sideways, capital letter ‘A’ shape for the goggle’s strap.
– Draw letter ‘u’ shaped fingers.
– Draw a diamond shape inside the pocket.
– Draw the top of the overalls and the buttons on the straps.
– Now just finish off the ‘G’ shape in the pocket.
– Now color the little guy in. Be imaginative and color him in however you want. In the movie, minions are yellow with blue overalls.

Great idea to use letters to help people learn how to draw this fun character. Letters are easy to duplicate and most people are able to write so .... Very clever! :)
