How to Draw Lucy from The Peanuts Movie Step by Step Tutorial

Written Out Step by Step Instructions

(Step 1) Draw a sideways letter ‘C’ shape for the bottom of Lucy’s face. Lightly draw a capital letter ‘D’ shape (on its side) at top of the head.

(Step 2) Draw ears and nose. Draw lines for the neck.

(Step 3) Draw a letter ‘C’ shape for the start of Lucy’s bangs. Draw an oval at the neck…and lower for the top of her skirt.

(Step 4) Draw another letter ‘C’ shape on her bangs. Draw curved lines for eye brows. Draw ovals for eyes. Draw curved lines to finish off her shirt.

(Step 5) Draw a letter ‘U’ shape to finish off Lucy’s bangs. Draw ovals inside her eyes. Draw curved lines around her eyes. Draw a wiggly upwards curved line for her smile. Draw letter ‘C’ shapes for the sides of her hair. Draw a sideways #3 shape for her collar. Draw her skirt and the start of her legs and arms as well.

(Step 6) Finish Lucy’s bangs with a finishing line. Draw ovals on both sides of her mouth. Finish off the collar with 2 more #3 shapes. Draw #3-like shapes for her sleeves. Draw a wiggly line for the bottom of her skirt. Draw a sideways letter ‘D’ shape for her first shoe. Draw an oval for her bow. Draw a line for each arm (her arms are behind her back).

(Step 7) Draw curved lines on her left sleeve and a sideways #3 shape to finish off the right sleeve. Draw a sideways ?-like shape on the oval to form part of her bow. Draw another sideways letter ‘D’ shape for her 2nd shoe. Draw curved lines for socks.

(Step 8) Draw a curved line in her ear. Draw wiggly lines on her chest. Finish off the sleeves. Draw a comma shape to finish off her bow. Finish the socks. Draw designs on her shoes.

(Step 9) Finish off her shoes with ovals for the bow and curved lines for the laces. Draw lines on her socks. Draw a line beneath the shoe for the sole.

(Step 10) Erase guidelines and darken remaining lines to finish off Lucy.
