How to Draw Ness from Super Smash Bros with Simple Step by Step Drawing Lesson

Written-Out Step by Step Instructions

(Step 1) Draw an oval. Then lightly draw guidelines thru the center.

(Step 2) Draw oval eyes. The guidelines will help you place them in the right position. Draw a sideways letter ‘D’shape for Ness’s body.

(Step 3) Draw a curved line over Ness’s head. Draw letter ‘C’ shaped ears. Draw an oval for the nose. Lightly draw guidelines for arms and legs.

(Step 4) Draw a sideways letter ‘J’ shape for the brim of his hat. Outline the guide arms. Draw guide hands. Draw a letter ‘U’ shape at his neck for the strap of his bag. Draw A letter ‘U’ shape for the tip of the right shoe. Draw a letter ‘L’ shape for the left leg of his shorts.

(Step 5) Draw a #3 shape for his bangs and for his fingers on the left hand. Draw letter ‘J’ shapes for his right fingers and a letter ‘U’ for the finger that is up in the air. Draw an oval for his sleeve. Draw part of a rectangle for the right shorts’ leg. Outline the left leg.

(Step 6) Draw a letter ‘J’ shape for the last lock of hair on the bangs. Finish off the right hand. Draw a letter ‘D’ shape for the thumb on the left hand. Draw a letter ‘U’ shape for the strap over the left shoulder. Draw a letter ‘S’ shape on the right shoulder and a curved line under the right arm. Draw a letter ‘C’ shape for both foot. Outline the right leg’s guideline.

(Step 7) Draw a curved line for the top of the hat’s brim. Draw a curved line for the hair under the hat. Finish up the strap. Draw a letter ‘D’ shape for the right thumb. Draw sock lines and continue to add to shoes.

(Step 8) Draw a curved line at bottom of hat. Draw a line to finish right strap. Draw a rectangle over left buckle. Draw dashes on shorts and a curved line at pocket. Draw 2 ovals for each tied lace – it looks like a sideways #8. Draw ovals for left shoe laces. Draw bubble letter ‘C’ shapes for laces on right shoes. Add a few other details to shoes.

(Step 9) Draw stripes on the shirt. Draw a letter ‘C’ shape on right thumb. Draw more dashed lines on shorts. Outline the tied laces #8 shape. Finish up shoes.
