How to Draw Cartoon Boy Celebrating Birthday & Holding Balloons from the Word b-day – Simple Steps Lesson

Written-Out Step by Step Directions

(Step 1) Draw “b-day” — draw the ‘y’ with a wiggly line, like a balloon’s string.

(Step 2) Draw zig-zag letter ‘M’ shaped hair. Draw a dot in each eye.

(Step 3) Draw a line all the way across the eyes, for glasses. Draw a sideways letter ‘c’ shape for the nose. Draw a line on either side of the face.

(Step 4) Draw a curved line for the smile. Draw a spiral line inside the ‘a’ shape. Draw a triangle on the end of both sides of the ‘y’.

(Step 5) Draw an upside down letter ‘v’ shape for the hat. Draw a line on both sides of the mouth. Draw a line at the bottom of the face. Draw an oval at the top of the right-side triangle. Draw a backwards #6 shape holding the balloon string.

(Step 6) Draw a cloud shape at the top of the hat. Draw a curved line at the top of each eye. Draw 2 curved lines attaching the mouth the letter ‘a’ shape. Draw an oval on the left-side traingle.

(Step 7) Draw a curved line at the bottom of the mouth. Draw 2 curved lines in each balloon. Draw 2 lines attaching the hand to the body. Draw a letter ‘c’ shape as the thumb.

(Step 8) Draw 2 lines in the mouth for the teeth. Draw a curved line for the collar. Draw 2 lines in each balloon, forming a square.

(Step 9) Your drawing is done. I added 2 lines for the left arm and 2 lines for the chest.
