How to Draw a Cartoon Dolphin from a Lowercase Letter Y – Easy Tutorial for Kids
Written Out Step by Step Instructions
(Step 1) Write a lowercase letter y.
(Step 2) Draw a curved line at the top of it to form the basic dolphin body.
(Step 3) Draw a curved line for the mouth and a #6 shape for the eye.
(Step 4) Fill in the eye except for a small white circle. Draw a curved line for the bottom fin. Draw a sideways #7 shape for the back fin.
(Step 5) Draw a letter ‘v’ shape for the top fin and bottom fin. Draw waves below the dolphin.
(Step 6) Draw lines over eye for eye lashes. Draw water droplets (You can draw these by drawing an oval that is pinched at the end.
