Written-Out Step by Step Drawing Instructions
(Step 1 and 2) Write out the word “hot” in the format that we have illustrated.
(Step 3) Draw a line to the left of the ‘h’. Draw curved lines for eyes and mouth. Draw an oval at the bottom of the letter ‘t’ shape.
(Step 4) Draw 6 curved lines above the ‘h’ shape. Draw letter ‘c’ shapes for ears and nose. Draw letter ‘U’ shapes for the feet. Draw lines on top of the letter ‘t’ for a flag. Draw a curved lines below the oval for bottom of sand castle.
(Step 5) Draw zig-zag shapes on one side of each line that is at the top of the tree. Draw letter ‘m’ and ‘w’ shape on the boy’s head for hair. Draw sideways #8 shapes for toes. Draw 3 line to finish flag. Connect the oval with the curved line at bottom of sand castle with 2 lines.
(Step 6) Draw zig-zag shapes on the other side of leaves of the palm tree. Draw lines on the sun. Draw curved lines on the tree trunk. Draw smaller #8 shapes for the other toes. Draw lines behind boy and tree. Draw a curved line connecting the ‘m’ and ‘w’ of the hair.
(Step 7) Draw waves behind the boy and tree. Draw a line on either side of boy’s head. Draw lines below the boy and tree.
(Step 8) Your Summer drawing is done…you can color it in to make it look really good. Have a fun Summer!
