Written-Out Step by Step Drawing Instructions
(Step 1) Write the word “king”…the turn the paper on its side.
(Step 2) Draw a square around the ‘K’ and ‘i’ for the face. Draw curved lines on both sides of the ‘k’ for the eyes.
(Step 3) Draw circles in the eyes. Draw a sideways letter ‘c’ shape for the nose. Draw a letter ‘w’ shape for the crown.
(Step 4) Draw lines for the sides of the crown. Draw a circle in each eye (for the highlights) Draw a letter ‘c’ shapes for the ears. Draw an oval for the sleeve.
(Step 5) Draw 3 circles on top of the crown. Draw 2 lines below the head. Draw 3 ovals for the fingers. Draw a line on top of the letter ‘g’ for the shoes.
(Step 6) Draw backwards letter ‘s’ shape for the cape. Draw another line below the head. Draw 2 lines in the fingers.
(Step 7) Draw a rectangle above the fingers. Draw 2 curved lines for the cape.
(Step 8) Draw a circle on top of the rectangle. Draw 2 curved lines below the arm.
(Step 9) Draw a tiny circle on top of the large circle you just drew. Draw a short line at the bottom of the staff you have been drawing.
(Step 10) Your king is done.
(Step 11) Color him in if you want to.
