Written-Out Step by Step Drawing Instructions

(Step 1) Write a lowercase letter ‘a’ shape.

(Step 2) Draw a spiral line inside the letter ‘a’ shape.

(Step 3) Draw a sideways letter ‘j’ shape on the bottom of ‘a’.

(Step 4) Draw a #5-like shape to the right of the ‘a’…the top of the ‘a’ isn’t really there, just showing you that it sort of looks like a #5.

(Step 5) Draw a curved line.

(Step 6) Draw a letter ‘U’ shape at the top.

(Step 7) Draw a circle for each eye.

(Step 8) Draw a dot in each eye.

(Step 9) Draw 2 downwards curved lines for the frown.

(Step 10) Erase any lines that aren’t needed.

(Step 11) Color in your snail.
