Written Out Step by Step Drawing Instructions

(Step 1) Draw a sideways ‘?’ shape.

(Step 2) Draw another ‘?’ shape on its side. The dot this time will go higher though.

(Step 3) So it should now look like this…one of the dots is an eye and the other dot is a nostril.

(Step 4) Draw a letter ‘u’ shape for the ear.

(Step 5) Draw a letter ‘v’ shape for the top of the ear.

(Step 6) Draw waves for water.

(Step 7) Draw a sideways letter ‘c’ shape for the hippo’s body.

(Step 8) Draw a letter ‘v’ shape for the inner ear and the tail.

(Step 9) Draw a curved line inside the nostril.

(Step 10) The hippo is done.

(Step 11) Color in the picture and add what you want to it. Have fun!
