Written-Out Step by Step Drawing Instructions

(Step 1) Draw a sideways uppercase ‘D’. Then draw a wide letter ‘v’ shape for the chin.

(Step 2) Draw sides of the face and bottoms of the eyes. Draw the neck / shoulder.

(Step 3) Draw a ‘v’ shape at the neck…draw sides of the eyes and a dot for the nose.

(Step 4) Draw a letter ‘m’ shape for the top of the hair. Draw oval-ish shapes for the eyes. Draw ? shapes for the chest.

(Step 5) Draw letter ‘W’ and ‘M’ shapes on the hair. Draw curved lines for sides of hair. Draw an oval in each eye. Draw blocky ?-like shapes for sides of arms. Draw bottom of rectangle on belly.

(Step 6) Again, draw letter ‘W’ shapes in hair. Draw a letter ‘m’ shape in the hair again. Draw letter ‘J’ shapes for bottoms of hair. Draw sideways letter ‘U’ shapes on chest. Draw letter ‘L’ and rectangle-like shapes on belly area. Draw 2 circles on belly. Draw a curved line for bottom of shirt.

(Step 7) Draw #7 shapes on hair. Draw letter ‘W’ shapes in hair and 2 lines. Draw curved line in each eye. Draw some lines in the chest area..a.s well as a letter ‘U’ shape for center of bow. Under the bow are ?-like shapes. Draw sides of skirt. Draw #3-like shape, on its side, for the thighs.

(Step 8) Draw 3 lines for legs below the knee. Lightly draw rectangle guides for the hands (these guides will be erased later). Draw letter ‘L’-like shapes for part of the arms…and also inside the shirt. Draw 2 circles in the shirt. Draw lines for collar. Draw some shapes in hair. Draw upside down letter ‘J’ shape on top of hair.

(Step 9) Draw upside down letter ‘v’ shapes in skirt, as well as some lines. Draw letter ‘m’ and ‘s’-like shapes on hands. Draw upside down letter ‘U’ shape on bottom of legs and 2 lines as well. Draw curved lines over eyes…and many other lines, too many to write all out.

(Step 10) Draw 2 curved lines over each eye. Draw letter ‘J’ shapes on bottom of hair as well as other curved lines. Draw 2 letter ‘U’ shapes in bow. Draw letter ‘v’ and #7-like shapes on wrists, as well as other lines. Draw letter ‘m’ shapes on fingers. Draw 2 lines on each leg. Draw ?-like shapes in center of ankles…and #7 shapes on outer ankles.

(Step 11) Draw #7 shapes on bows. Draw letter ‘v’ and curved lines on bottom of hair. Draw letter ‘v’ shape on chest bow. Draw letter ‘Y’ shapes on fingers…as well as other details…too many to say. Draw bottom of feet.

(Step 12) Continue adding details.

(Step 13) Draw sideways #8 shapes on shoes. Draw bottoms of shoes.

(Step 13) Draw letter ‘x’ shapes on boots.

(Step 14) Draw upside down letter ‘v’ shapes on ties of boots.

(Step 15) Your drawing is done, erase guidelines and lines that you don’t need any more.
