Written-Out Step by Step Drawing Instructions

(Step 1) Lightly draw a rectangle that is slanted a bit. All blue lines in this tutorial will be guide lines (which are erased at the end) so draw them lightly.

(Step 2) Draw an upside down triangle (with the tip erased off) at the bottom of the rectangle.

(Step 3) Draw another 2 guidelines thru the shapes. Then outline the guidelines for the right side of the face.

(Step 4) Draw leaf shapes for eyes. Draw 2 ovals with lines connecting them.

(Step 5) Draw a circle in each eye. Draw a very large circle and connect them to the waist with curved lines.

(Step 6) Draw a curved line at top of head. Draw letter ‘s’-like curved for hair. Draw a circle in each eye. Draw a curved line for nose and mouth. Draw a #2-like shape as well as a #5-like shape on arms.

(Step 7) Draw letter s-like curves for hair. Draw a circle in each eye. Draw a curved line below neck and at waist. Draw a letter ‘U’ shape at bottom of the dress.

(Step 8) Draw a circle and letter ‘u’ shape at top of head. Draw a curved line for head band. Draw more letter ‘s’-like shapes on hair, as well as a letter ‘j’ shape and a curved line for ear. Draw a circle on collar of her dress. Draw an upside down cursive letter ‘e’ shape on waist. Draw 2 sideways letter ‘U’ shapes at waist.

(Step 9) Draw heart shape on head band. Draw some letter ‘s’ shapes on hair as well as a curved line. Draw curved line on top of each eye and on top of mouth. Draw letter ‘L’-like shapes for arms. Draw 2 letter ‘J’ shapes at base of dress.

(Step 10) Draw some circles on head band. Draw letter ‘M’ shaped eye lashes. Draw a sideways #3-like shape on waist. Draw a curved line for her shoe.

(Step 11) Draw more circles on head band. Draw a few more curved lines on hair and for eye brows. Draw more letter ‘M’-shaped eye lashes. Draw a curved line for necklace and letter ‘U’-like shape for pendant. Draw curved lines on dress as well as a line and a letter ‘Y’-like shape.

(Step 12) Draw letter ‘J’-like shapes on headband as well as another heart-shape. Draw a curved line on top of each eye brow. Draw curved lines in chest area. Outline pendant. Draw curved lines at bottom of the dress.

(Step 13) Draw more letter ‘J’-like shapes on headband. Draw curved lines on bottom of the dress.

(Step 14) Draw a bunch of circles all along the dress.

(Step 15) Your princess Sofia is done.
