Today I will show you how to draw a bunch of cute cartoon characters using the uppercase letter “E” shape. Each cartoon animal / person is broken down into multiple steps to make it easier for you to draw. This guide is perfect for preschoolers, Kindergartners, younger kids, as well as older kids who are just learning how to draw.

We have six step by step drawing tutorials below…each of a different cartoon character. Happy Drawing!
(Step 1) Draw an uppercase letter ‘E’.
(Step 2) Draw a line down the right side to make a rectangle. Draw a sideways letter ‘c’ shape at the top of the robot’s head.
(Step 3) Draw an oval for a mouth and a square on both sides of the head.
(Step 4) Draw a curved line for each eye. Draw a sideways letter ‘D’ shape on both sides of the head. Draw circles on the robot’s chest.
(Step 5) Draw lines in the mouth. Draw two half circles on both sides of the robot – this will be the claw hands.
(Step 6) Connect the hands to the robot’s body with curved lines – these will be the robot’s arms. Draw a square for each leg.
(Step 7) Draw 2 lines on each hand to connect both half circles together. Draw a sideways letter ‘D’ shape for each foot.
(Step 8) Draw curved lines in the arms.
(Step 9) Your robot is done..unless..
(Step 10) You want to color him in…if so color the robot in and add whatever else you would like to.
(Step 1) Draw a letter ‘E’ shape.
(Step 2) Draw a letter ‘C’ shape for the nose.
(Step 3) Draw a circle for the eye.
(Step 4) Draw a backwards letter ‘c’ shape for the ear.
(Step 5) Woops…ignore this step.
(Step 6) Draw a line for the mouth.
(Step 7) Scribble hair upon the top of his head.
(Step 8) Your boy is done.
(Step 9) Color in the boy if you want to.
(Step 1) Draw a letter ‘E’.
(Step 2) Draw a line along the right side to form a rectangle.
(Step 3) Draw a sideways uppercase letter ‘D’ shape for the beak.
(Step 4) Draw ovals for eyes. Draw letter ‘j’ shapes for wings.
(Step 5) Draw a letter ‘M’ shape on top of the head. Draw a half circle on the tummy.
(Step 6) Draw another letter ‘M’ shape on the head. Draw sideways letter ‘D’ shapes for feet.
(Step 7) Your penguin is finished.
(Step 8) Color him in if you have the time.
(Step 1) Write an uppercase letter “E” shape.
(Step 2) Draw a line on the right side to form a rectangle.
(Step 3) Draw an upside down letter ‘V’ shape below the center line.
(Step 4) Draw ovals for eyes.
(Step 5) Draw a sideways letter ‘c’ shape for the nose.
(Step 6) Scribble in hair.
(Step 7) Draw letter ‘c’ shaped ears.
(Step 8) Draw smaller letter ‘c’ shapes inside the ears. Draw a line for the mouth.
(Step 9) Your superhero boy is done.
(Step 10) Color in the superhero boy if you want to.
(Step 1) Draw an uppercase letter ‘E’ shape.
(Step 2) Draw a line along the right side to form a rectangle.
(Step 3) Draw letter ‘P’-like shapes for ears.
(Step 4) Draw an oval for the nose. Draw a line on each ear.
(Step 5) Draw 2 ovals for eyes.
(Step 6) Draw a line below the nose.
(Step 7) Draw a letter ‘u’ shape for each arm.
(Step 8) Draw sideways letter ‘D’ shapes for feet.
(Step 9) Draw a curved letter ‘V’ shape (on its side) for the dog’s tail.
(Step 10) Draw curved lines around the tail – this is the movement lines because the doggy is wagging his tail.
(Step 11) Your doggy is done.
(Step 12) Now just color him in.
(Step 1) Draw an uppercase letter ‘E’ shape.
(Step 2) Draw a line along the right side to form a rectangle.
(Step 3) Draw letter ‘U’ shapes for arms.
(Step 4) Draw ovals for eyes.
(Step 5) Draw a triangle that is a bit more rounded…this will be the nose.
(Step 6) Draw a sideways #3 shape for the mouth.
(Step 7) Draw upside down letter ‘V’ shapes for ears.
(Step 8) Draw smaller letter ‘V’ shapes inside the ears.
(Step 9) Draw letter ‘c’ shapes for feet.
(Step 10) Draw a letter ‘j’ shaped tail.
(Step 11) Your cartoon kitty cat is done.
(Step 12) Now just color her in.
