Written-Out Step by Step Drawing Instructions
(Step 1) Draw a lowercase letter ‘j’.
(Step 2) Draw an oval around the circle for the eye. Draw a curved line for the mouth.
(Step 3) Draw a backwards #3-like shape for the bottom of the face. Draw an upside down letter ‘j’ shape on top of the head.
(Step 4) Draw 2 ovals on top of the head. Draw a curved line on smile. Draw an oval for the nostril.
(Step 5) Draw an upside down letter ‘v’ shape for the ear. Draw 2 lines for each antler. Draw a backwards letter ‘c’ shape over the nostril.
(Step 6) Draw 2 lines for the neck. Draw a letter ‘v’ shape in the ear.
(Step 7) Draw a line and a letter ‘c’ shape for the body.
(Step 8) Draw an upside down letter ‘v’ shape for the part in between the front legs. Draw a 2 curved lines for the tail.
(Step 9) Draw a letter ‘c’ shape on the tail and a #2 shape for the thigh.
(Step 10) Draw a letter ‘v’ shape at the end of the tail. Draw a line on one of the front legs.
(Step 11) Draw 2 lines for the leg that is all the way in the back. Draw 2 lines on the front feet.
(Step 12) Draw lines on the feet.
(Step 13) Draw wavy lines for the mane / hair on its back and head.
(Step 14) Your drawing is done – just erase any lines that are no longer needed.
(Step 15) Color in the giraffe if you want to.
