Today I will show you how to draw a cute cartoon version of Ron Weasley from the Harry Potter books and movies. This is a cartoon / chibi / kawaii version of Ron based on cute Harry Potter bookmarks I found on Amazon. 

They were so cute that I just couldn’t stand it, I had to draw some of them. I have broken down this art lesson into 20 steps to make it as easy as possible for you to follow along with. This is a very easy version of Ron for younger kids and older kids to learn how to draw. Happy Drawing!

Learn How to Draw Cute Ron Weasley from Harry Potter (Chibi / Kawaii) Simple Steps Drawing Lesson for Kids

Written-Out Step by Step Drawing Instructions

(Step 1) Draw 2 lines.

(Step 2) Draw a curved line at the bottom of the 2 lines. You now have Ron’s face.

(Step 3) Lightly draw guidelines thru the face…these will be erased at the end.

(Step 4) Using the guide-lines, place the oval eyes in Ron’s face. Draw a letter ‘W’ shape for his hair.

(Step 5) Draw curved lines under his eyes and for his frown.

(Step 6) Draw another curved line under each eye. Draw a letter ‘M’ shape for his scarf.

(Step 7) Draw two letter ‘V’ shapes on his hair.

(Step 8) Draw two letter ‘U’ shapes under his face, for his sleeves.

(Step 9) Draw a backwards #3 shape on the left side of his head, for hair. Draw 2 curved lines for his scarf.

(Step 10) Draw an oval around his head for his robe’s hood.

(Step 11) Draw a letter ‘j’ outline around each sleeve.

(Step 12) Draw a curved line at the bottom of each side of Ron’s scarft. Draw a sideways letter ‘J’ shape for the bottom of Ron’s robe.

(Step 13) Draw a letter ‘L’ shape for both sides of his robe.

(Step 14) Draw a few lines.

(Step 15) Draw a sideways #3 shape for Ron’s shoes. Draw a letter ‘j’ shape for the right side of his robe.

(Step 16) Draw lines in the scarf for its pattern.

(Step 17) Draw a letter ‘L’ shape in Ron’s hair and his scarf.

(Step 18) Draw a #3 shape with an extra hump on each of his hands (for knuckles).

(Step 19) Erase guide lines.

(Step 20) If you have time, color Ron in.
