 Learn How to Draw Fall / Autumn Scene from the Word “Fall” – Simple Step by Step Drawing Tutorial for Kids

Written-Out Step by Step Drawing and Art Instructions

(Step 1) Write the word “Fall”, just like I have. The lines on the “F” should be slanted upwards.

(Step 2) draw 2 upward slanted lines on the letter ‘F’.

(Step 3) Draw a circle around the upward lines on the “F”.

(Step 4) Draw a line on top of the line on the letter ‘a’ shape. Also draw a line within the ‘a’.

(Step 5) Draw two letter ‘v’ shapes inside the ‘a’. You now have a small tree or bush.

(Step 6) Draw a sideways letter ‘c’ shape on the left side of the drawing. This will be a leaf shape (It is so large because it is way in front of the trees. Draw part of a circle, or a backwards letter ‘c’ shape to the right of the first circle.

(Step 7) Now erase the parts of the letter ‘l’ shapes that are behind the 2nd circle. Draw parts of two letter ‘v’ shapes inside the 2nd big tree. Some of these lines are behind the first large tree. Draw a curved lines on top of the leaf…now it sort of looks like a sideways lowercase letter ‘e’ shape.

(Step 8) Draw a curved line on the leaf. Draw another partial circle or backwards letter ‘c’ shape.

(Step 9) Draw a curved line inside the leaf. Draw 2 upward lines in the 3rd large tree.

(Step 10) Draw another partial circle or backwards letter ‘c’ shape for the 4th large tree. Draw 2 letter ‘v’ shapes on the leaf.

(Step 11) Draw a line on the leaf for the stem. Draw a check-mark and an upward turned line in the last big tree.

(Step 12) Draw a line for the land behind the trees.

(Step 13) Draw letter ‘M’ shaped zig-zags for mountains in the background.

(Step 14) Draw letter ‘M’ shaped zig-zags on the top of each mountain. Draw a curvy wavy line for some hills in the background.

(Step 15) Color in your trees with lots of different colors. In Fall the leaves change to different colors. Draw the mountains purple and white. The hills in the background green…and the land in between the mountains and the hills a lighter green.
