How to Draw Kawaii Chibi Rapunzel from Disney’s Tangled in Easy Steps

Today I will show you how to draw a cute, baby-like, kawaii / chibi styled Rapunzle from Disney’s Tangled. I am basing this chibi character from the Toy Rapunzel Figure from Funko Blind Box Mystery Disney Princesses. I have changed it only a little bit.

I will guide you thru the steps of drawing a chibi Rapunzel…I have broken it down into many, many illustrated steps to make sure it is as easy as possible for you. Happy Drawing!

Learn How to Draw Kawaii Chibi Rapunzel from Disney’s Tangled in Simple Steps  Drawing Lesson

Written-Out Step by Step Drawing Instructions

(Step 1) Draw an oval for the face.

(Step 2) Lightly draw guidelines thru the oval – we will erase these at the end.

(Step 3) Draw an oval for each eye. Draw a line at the bottom of the face.

(Step 4) Draw a letter ‘c’-like shape at the top of the head and a letter ‘v’ shape below the chin.

(Step 5) Draw an oval in each eye. Draw a line on either side of the ‘v’ from the last step. Draw a ?-like shape on both sides of the body.

(Step 6) Draw a curved line for the nose and mouth. Draw a backwards, flattened-like shape for the hair on the right side of the face.

(Step 7) Draw upside down letter ‘A’-like shapes for arms. Draw another curved line for the bottom of the mouth. Draw a curved line for the bottom of the dress.

(Step 8) Draw curved lines for outer hair. Draw a curved line for the eye lids.

(Step 9) Draw a curved line on the head. Outline the collar. Draw lines for outer dress.

(Step 10) Draw a backwards letter ‘s’-like shape for hair on the left. Draw a letter ‘z’-like shape for the hair on the right side. Draw a letter ‘x’ on the dress.

(Step 11) Draw a flattened letter ‘v’-like shape on waist. Draw another letter ‘x’ shape on the chest. Draw eye lashes.

(Step 12) Draw a sideways letter ‘U’ shape for hair on bottom. Draw another ‘x’ and a line on collar/waist.

(Step 13) Draw lines on the dress. Draw a curved line connecting the hair on the floor to the hair flowing from her head.

(Step 14) Draw another flattened letter ‘v’ shape on waist. Draw a circle in each eye.

(Step 15) Rapunzel is finished.

(Step 16) Color her in.
