Written-Out Step by Step Drawing Instructions

(Step 1) Draw a backwards letter ‘C’ shape for the head.

(Step 2) Lightly draw guidelines (a triangle and a square). These will help you draw the face properly, but will be erased at the end.

(Step 3) Draw a letter ‘W’-like shape for the hair.

(Step 4) Draw a letter ‘S’-like shape for the bridge of the nose.

(Step 5) Draw 2 curved lines for the eye. Draw a letter ‘V’ shape for more hair.

(Step 6) Draw a few curved lines.

(Step 7) Draw a #5 shape and a letter ‘s’-like shape.

(Steps 8-10) Draw some more curved and straight lines.

(Step 11) Draw 2 letter ‘v’ shapes for hair.

(Step 12) Draw an oval in the eye. Draw a letter ‘V’ shape for more hair. Draw a #7-like shape under the chin.

(Step 13) Draw an oval and a curved line in the eye. Draw a curved line for her ear and a letter ‘v’ shape for more hair.

(Step 14) Draw a curved line for the back of her neck, a #2 shape in her ear and a curved line in her eye.

(Step 15) Draw curved letter ‘v’ shapes for her eye lashes.

(Step 16) Erase guide lines.

(Step 17)Lighten up the lines inside the eyes, because you hardly want to see the outline. Color in the eye.

(Step 18) Smudge the colors a bit inside the eye and color in the rest of the girl.
