Written-Out Step by Step Drawing Instructions

Get a ruler out and use it to make straight lines.

(Step 1) Draw a triangle turned to the left…as I have.

(Step 2) Draw a line at each corner.

(Step 3) Erase the tips of the triangle.

(Steps 4 through 6) Draw lines from inner corner to inner corner as show in the illustrations.

(Step 7) Erase a few lines.

(Steps 8 through 10) Draw 3 lines inside the shape that you drew in previous steps.

(Step 11) Erase some more lines.

(Step 12) Draw 3 lines.

(Step 13) Draw 3 more lines that are parallel to the lines that you drew in Step #12.
