Learn How to Draw a Cartoon Basketball Character (Cute Kawaii Chibi Style) in Simple Steps Drawing Lesson for Beginners and Children

Written-Out Step by Step Drawing Instructions

(Step 1) Draw a circle.

(Step 2) Draw a thick curved line. Draw it lightly.

(Step 3) Draw an upside down letter ‘U’ shape on top of the first curved line. It should, again, be a thick line. Draw it lightly.

(Step 4) Draw another curved line. Draw it lightly.

(Step 5) Draw a sideways letter ‘S’ curve on the top of the basketball. Draw it lightly.

(Step 6) Draw an oval for each eye.

(Step 7) Draw another oval in each eye. Draw a curved line for the mouth.

(Step 8) Draw an oval for the hoop – don’t draw the dotted line part.

(Step 9) Draw a sideways letter ‘c’ shape in each eye and for the nose.

(Step 10) Draw a curved line in each eye. Draw a letter ‘V’ shape on the hoop.

(Step 11) Draw an oval – don’t draw the dotted lines. Draw a letter ‘v’ a bit to the right of the previous one.

(Step 12) Draw 2 lines for each arm. Draw a letter ‘V’ shape to the right of the previous one.

(Step 13) Draw #3 shaped hands.

(Step 14) Draw lines on the net.

(Step 15) Draw a letter ‘W’ shape on the bottom of the net. Draw 2 curved lines on the net as well.

(Step 16) Draw upside down letter ‘U’ shape for each foot. Draw another ‘W’ shape at the bottom of the net.

(Step 17) Draw a letter ‘U’ shape on each foot.

(Step 18) Draw 2 lines for each leg.

(Step 19) Color him in.
