Today I’ll show you how to draw a realistic cute little girl’s head / face from the side/profile view. Written Out Step by Step Drawing Instructions
When you see blue lines in this tutorial, that means that these lines are “guide lines”. All guide lines are to be drawing lightly as they will be erased later on.
(Step 1) Lightly draw a sideways “L” shape and a curved line.
(Step 2) Draw a diagonal line.
(Step 3) Draw 2 lines.
(Step 4) Now we will start drawing the “real lines”. Draw a curved line for the chin and an upside down “?”-like shape for the nose.
(Step 5) Draw “?”-like shapes and a curved line.
(Step 6) You might have to zoom in on the picture to see it better. Draw a sideways “9-like shape for the nose’s nostril. Draw lines for the lips.
(Step 7) Draw a sideways “V” shape for the eye. Add lines to the mouth.
(Step 8) Draw an upside down “?” shape on the eye. Draw a curved line inside the eye as well and on the side of the nose.
(Step 9) Draw curved lines for the eye and on the lips.
(Step 10) Draw a sideways “S”-like curve for the hat. Draw a curved line and an oval int he eye. Draw 2 curved lines in the mouth.
(Step 11) Draw a curved line for the bottom of the hat’s rim. Draw a curved line for the bottom tooth. The top tooth is an upside down “V” shape with a line on either side of it.
(Step 12) Draw curved lines for eye lashes. Zoom in to look at the mouth…add a few lines.
(Step 13) Continue to add lashes and to the mouth.
(Step 14) Add to the hat. Add more lashes and to the mouth.
(Step 15) Draw a curved line to the hat. Draw lines for hair.
(Step 16) Add more lines to the hair.
(Step 17) Draw curved lines for the shoulder and chest. We are going to start shading.
