Learn How to Draw Alfur the Elf from Hilda Simple Steps Drawing Lesson for Beginners + Kids

Written-Out Step by Step Drawing Instructions

(Step 1) Draw a circle.

(Step 2) Lightly draw guide lines thru the face, like I have.

(Step 3) Use the guide lines to help you place the facial features. Draw ovals for eyes.

(Step 4) Draw a sideways “C”-like shape, to start off the mouth.

(Step 5) Draw a sideways #7 shape on the left and a curve on the right, to start off the ears.

(step 6) Draw 2 curved lines.

(Step 7) Draw a curved line on each ear.

(Step 8) Draw a sideways “U” shape for his hair. Draw a curved line for each brow.

(Step 9) Draw a sideways “J” shape to finish off his hair.

(Step 10) Draw a sideways “V” shape for his hat. Draw a curved line for his teeth.

(Step 11) Draw a line in the mouth. Draw 2 curved lines for his shirt.

(Step 12) Draw 2 curvy lines that look like a #2 shape.

(Step 13) Draw 2 curvy lines that look like a “J” shape.

(Step 14) Draw a curved line for the bottom of the shirt.

(Step 15) Draw a sideways “S” like shape.

(Step 16) Draw an “S” curve — or just follow the shape from Step 15, but without the loopy part at the end.

(Step 17) Draw 2 wavy lines for the ends of the paper.

(Step 18) Draw 2 lines for each leg.

(Step 19) Draw 2 sideways “U” shapes for the feet.

(Step 20) Draw some random width-ed lines for the writing on the paper…and one for the top of the paper.

(Step 21) Erase any un-needed lines and thicken some lines. Fill in some parts black.

(Step 22) Color him in.
