Today I’ll show you how to draw an umbrella with easy to follow steps. An umbrella is pretty simple to draw, a long as you can see the basic shapes within it. I’ll help you with that. Happy Drawing!

We are going to start with guide lines. These lines will be erased later on and are used to help guide you as you draw.
(Step 1) Lightly draw an oval guide line.
(Step 2) Lightly draw a curved line over it…it now sort of looks like a sideways “D” shape.
(Steps 3 + 4) Now for the real lines. Use the guide lines to help you. Draw an “S”-curve-like shape on both sides of the umbrella.
(Step 5) Draw a curved line at the top. Draw 2 dots on the guide oval, trying to space them out as I have.
(Step 6) Draw Draw a curved line from both of those dots. Draw a line at the top of the umbrella.
(Step 7) Draw 2 line towards the center of the umbrella (from the curved lines you drew in step #6.
(Step 8) Draw a curved line in the center, between the 2 center lines.
(Step 9) Draw 2 curved lines on outer edges.
(Step 10) Now for the curved lines in the back of the umbrella. Draw a curved line in the center.
(Step 11) Draw 2 curved lines on the sides.
(Step 12) Draw 2 vertical lines…don’t draw the blue parts.
(Step 13) Draw a line at the bottom of these 2 lines. Draw an upside down “U” shape on the top of these 2 lines.
(Step 14) Draw 2 “J” shapes for the handle.
(Step 15) Draw a “U” shape at the end of the handle.
(Step 16) Draw “V” shapes all along the bottom of the umbrella.
(Step 17) Your umbrella is finished.
