Today I’ll show you how to draw a super cute (kawaii chibi) Pikachu and Teddiursa from Pokemon. They are both hugging and giving each other affection.  I saw them both in this Pokemon construction set and thought they would look cuter if they were hugging. I will guide you through the step by step drawing process with these super easy steps. Happy Drawing!

Written-Out Step by Step Drawing Instructions

(Step 1) Draw a backwards letter “C” shape.

(Step 2) Draw a backwards #3-like shape.

(Step 3) Draw a sideways “U” shape.

(Step 4) Draw a curved line and a “C”-like shape.

(Step 5+6) Draw an oval for the first eye. Draw a sideways “U” shape.

(Step 7) Draw the 2nd eye. Draw a “C” shape to finish off the egg-shaped arm.

(Step 8) Draw an oval in each eye. Draw a sideways “A” shape for the ear.

(Step 9) Draw a sideways “C” shape. Don’t draw the blue dotted line (it’s just a guide line)

(Step 10) Draw an “L” shape and a curved line.

(Step 11) Draw another “L” shape and a curved line for the nose.

(Step 12) Draw an upside down “?” shape for Pikachu’s body. Don’t draw the dotted circle.

(Step 13) Draw a partial circle for each cheek.

(Step 14) Draw a sideways “M” shape.

(Step 15) Draw a partial “W” shape to start the tail off.

(Step 16) draw a sideways “Z” shape on the tail. Draw a “C” shape for Teddiursa’s head.

(Step 17) Draw a circle for Teddiursa’s tail. Draw a sideways “V” shape to finish off the basic shape of Pikachu’s tail.

(Step 18) Draw a “C” shape for Teddiursa’s ear. Draw a curved line for Pikachu’s foot.
