Do you want to learn how to draw Gary the Snail Spongebob Squarepants? I have put together a step-by-step tutorial that will help you figure out how to draw Gary the Snail from Spongebob Squarepants by using simple shapes to build up Gary the Snail’s form. This is an intermediate cartooning tutorial that older kids, teens, and adults will enjoy. Enjoy!
First draw a circle with a little bit of a lip at the bottom (as shown above). Don’t worry about mistakes because you can erase these later. Later, you will be using a pen or marker to outine the ‘right’ lines.
Now draw 2 ovals for eyes.
Now draw 2 small circles with a big dot inside each of the circles (as shown above).
Now draw Gary’s body which is mostly a wavy line.
Now draw Gary the Snail’s mouth which is simply a sideways ‘P’ shape.
Now draw 2 stems holding up Gary’s eyes.
