How to Draw Embarrassed Spongebob Squarepants Step by Step Drawing Lesson

Step 7

Draw 2 letter ‘J’ like shapes on the left hand and 2 backwards letter ‘J’ like shapes on the right hand. Also find the center of Spongebob’s face by drawing a line down the center horizontally (right and left) and vertically (up and down).

Step 8

Now draw a number ‘5’ like shape on the left hand and an upside down question mark like shape on the right hand. Draw ovals all over Spongebob’s face (because he is a sponge). Also find the middle of the bottom half of Spongebob’s face (mine is marked by dashed line).

Step 9

Draw 2 circles…for eyes.

Step 10

Draw Spongebob’s nose by drawing an upside down letter ‘U’ like shape between the eyes. Draw 2 circles in each eye.

Step 11

Draw the top eye lids. Also draw the bottom eyelids. Also draw the mouth.

Step 12

Draw a circle for each cheek…the dashed line can be erased after you draw it.

Step 13

Draw 3 dots in each cheek to make it look like a frowny face. Draw a letter ‘v’ like shape in between the eyes. Draw a sideways letter ‘J’ like shape on each side of the eyes.

Step 14

Draw 2 upwards curved lines on top of each eye. Also draw the bottom teeth by drawing a straight line across the mouth and 6 lines vertical lines (up and down).

Step 15

Now draw 4 lines for the top teeth.

Now you just have to erase lines that you don’t need and outline the ‘correct’ lines with a pen or marker. If you are having problems figuring out which lines to erase, then reference my drawing (above) for help. With the thick outside dark marker line, doesn’t Spongebob Squarepants look Awesome?!
