Draw a heart like shape for the nose. Draw a small rectangle under the nose for Mort’s tooth. Also draw a bunch of small lines in the shape of an upside down letter ‘u’ above the eyes, as seen above.
Draw an upside down letter ‘u’ like shape above the nose. Draw a slightly upwards curved line through the tooth (but then erase the line that you make inside the tooth) as seen above.
Draw a ‘u’ like shape under the mouth line for the bottom of the mouth. Then draw an oval from the nose to under the mouth, as seen above.
Now draw a ‘u’ like shape under the tooth for Mort’s tongue. Also draw a bunch of small lines around the mouth as seen above. Then lightly sketch a triangle and a circle for each ear (we will be erasing these later).
Now trace the triangle and circle for each ear and then erase those inner shapes. Then draw basic shapes to make up the rest of Mort’s form, such as a square for his body.
Draw a triangle for each arm, the left leg…and a circle and square for the right leg.
Now draw the shape of the body by outlining all the shapes that you just drew…afterward, you can erase the shapes that you traced.
