Hi Flo!!! My Pikachu Art Is Better Than This One?
Flo McCrary
As part of my ministry I make simple rag dolls which I send around the world to disadvantaged children. I love making simple dolls and dresses but I feel
like I sometimes ruin them when I draw on the faces. Any suggestions for simple, cute faces would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Flo! I love that you do this!!!! Wow. I have a crafts site (that I really neglect) … http://www.artistshelpingchildren.org/dollsartscraftsideaskids.html … what I usually suggest is sewing on buttons for eyes and sewing on a mouth – either with black thread or by sewing a pink oval for the mouth. The problem is if the doll is for young children or babies…if so, then you can sew black eyes instead of using buttons. I have tried drawing faces on the dolls and the same thing always happens to me too – the marker bleeds and it looks bad. Sorry if this answer isn’t what you were looking for. Good luck!
