How to Draw Cartoon Frogs with Step by Step Drawing Lesson for Kids

Step 1) draw a bin, it should be a tiny bit turned to the left

Step 2) now, draw a pyramid above, mark a vertical “nose-line” on the pyramid and continue it on the bin, then use it to as a guide to draw the eyes, the nose, then make two marks for the smile, then draw the body in a shape of an oval (notice how it is turned relatively to the head)

Step 3) continue with the eyes and draw two bigger circles and two egg-shapes, slightly inclined to each other, then draw a curve for a chin, as it is shown in the picture. now, draw two quadrilaterals for hands and then mark a point under the center of the body (see the picture for guidance)

Step 4) Now, continue with hands and draw arms and fingers. After that go the mark below the center of the body and draw two crossing lines (notice the angle between them and the horizontal line)

Step 5) Now, finish fingers and draw chicks

Step 6) Starting from the point below the body draw two curves for legs, then draw two quadrilaterals for feet

Step 7) add detail to arms and continue with the legs and feet, after that erase all the lines we don’t need any more.

Step 8) continue adding more detail to legs, make lines look smooth, clean up

Step 9)  continue adding more detail to feet, make lines look smooth, clean up

Step 10) now add more detail to the mouth

That’s it! Now, the drawing is ready for coloring!
