In this drawing tutorial, you will learn how to draw Shadow the Hedgehog. I will show you how to draw Shadow the Hedgehog by showing you in multiple instructional steps that you will find below. He is a character from the Sonic the Hedgehog series. He resembles Sonic in many ways, such as how his hover skates propel him at extreme speeds to rival those of Sonic, but he distinguishes himself with greater use of Chaos Control with Chaos Emeralds, which allow him to warp time and space. He is Sonic’s rival and is the antithesis of Sonic himself in all aspects of his life.

First draw a circle for the face…draw guidelines around the face as if it were a ball…making the center lower and farther to the left than the center. This is because Shadow the Hedgehog’s face is turned slightly to the left. Start drawing the eye and the bottom of the face.
Start drawing the ears. Draw the pupil / iris of the eye. Draw a sideways letter ‘P’ like shape for the mouth opening.
Notice that the basic shapes of Shadow the Hedgehow, is very similar to Sonic. Now draw ovals for the left eye and nose. Create 3 curvy lines for the hair
Now create the body. Add guidelines to the arms, legs and chest. Create circles for the shoulders, hands and cilinders for the legs, then draw rounded squares for the shoes. Part of this step is below in the next step.
Refine the characters by drawing around with another color.
Finally remove the guidelines
Fill your drawing with any color, or keep it with black and white if you prefer.
Add the colors above if you want Shadow the Hedgehog to look like the Shadow in the video games and cartoons that you are used to.
