Today we will show you how to draw Papa Smurf from The Smurfs. Learn how to draw this character with the following simple step to step tutorial.

Draw a circle and below the circle draw a slanted letter ‘D’ shape. Use the blue guidelines to help you place the letter ‘D’ shape correctly.
Draw the guidelines inside the circle to help place the facial features. Draw two ovals interlocking each other and looks like a sideways ‘8’ shape. Draw a sideways ‘U’ for the nose.
Draw an oval in each eye for the pupils. Draw an upside down ‘J’ shape for the left eye brow and a downward curve for the right eye brow. To begin the mouth, draw a sideways letter ‘J’ shape.
Draw a letter ‘T’ shape on the left of the face. Also draw a letter ‘C’ shape at both sides of the face. Draw an upward curve for the smile.
For the hat, draw a shape that looks like a lowercase letter ‘e’ shape. Draw a letter ‘C’ shape for the ear and lightly sketch a curve for the bottom of the face. Draw a letter ‘U’ shape for the bottom of his mouth.
Draw a backwards comma shape and a sideways ‘J’ shape to finish the hat. Add an arrow head shape by the hat. For the beard, draw letter ‘M’ shaped hairs and also draw curved lines for the beard hairs.
