How to Draw Sonic the Hedgehog with Easy Step by Step Drawing Tutorial

 Step 1

Start with a large circle for the head with a smaller half oval at the bottom for the body.

Step 2

Draw his arm guides.

Step 3

Draw his leg guides.

Step 4

Draw large zigzag lines that run across the top of his head to his back for his “hair”.

Step 5

Lets start drawing the face. Draw letter ‘A’ ears and then make another line above the ‘A’ ears that sort of outlines that letter ‘A’. Make a sideways letter ‘S’ for Sonic’s right eyebrow. Draw an oval nose with an oval highlight inside of it. Draw a sideways letter ‘J’-like shape for the smirk.

Step 6

Lets continue with the face. Draw sideways letter ‘U’ shapes on the cheeks. Draw curved eyebrow lines. Draw an upside down letter ‘u’ for the eye-line. Also draw oval shapes for the eyes.

Step 7

Now just finish up the face by drawing the eyes and the rest of the bottom of the face (highlighted).

Step 8

Draw his fingers/knuckles as well as his sleeves.

Step 9

Add some muscle to his feet and arms, and draw his shoes’ details.

Step 10

Erase your guide lines and you’re done!  Now colorize your Sonic the Hedgehog drawing if you want to. I hope that this tutorial helped you that you had a lot of fun 🙂
