How to Draw Stuart and an Evil Minion from Despicable Me 2 Drawing Tutorial

Today we will show you how to draw a picture of Stuart, a normal minion, handing a banana to an evil minion. Evil Minions are a mutated version of Gru’s minions, caused by the PX-41 serum. Evil minions are mindless, bloodthirsty, and evil. Today we will show you how to draw both these characters with easy to follow steps. Enjoy!

How to Draw Stuart and an Evil Minion from Despicable Me 2 Drawing Tutorial

Step 1

Lightly draw the basic skeletal shapes of the two minions.

Step 2

– Outline the arm lines that you made in the last step.

– Draw circles for eyes in both minions.

– Draw a letter ‘D’ shape for the minion on the left and a letter ‘S’ shape for the minion on the right.

Step 3

–  Minion on the left: Draw letter ‘c’ shaped curves on the eye area. Draw a letter ‘p’ shape and a #8 shape on the right hand. Draw a #3 shape on the left hand.

– Minion on the right: Draw letter ‘c’ shaped curves on the eye area. Draw letter ‘u’ shaped fingers…except for right most finger on the right hand…that finger looks like a #9. Draw letter ‘s’ shapes for hair.

Step 4

 

–  Minion on the left: Draw curved lines in the eye area and for the glasses strap. Draw a letter ‘L’ shape on the left hand. Draw a curved line for the right cuff.

– Minion on the right: Draw letter ‘v’ shaped teeth…noticing that some of the teeth are bigger than others. Draw 2 letter ‘c’ shapes on the right hand. Draw a pacman (a circle with a letter ‘v’ shape cut out of it) shaped pupil for the left eye. Draw a sideways letter ‘v’ shape for the slightly opened eye on the right. Draw more letter ‘s’ shapes in the hair.

Step 5

–  Minion on the left: Draw a letter ‘U’ shaped pocket with a circle in it.  Draw circle buttons inside straps. Start drawing the legs with simple lines. Draw slightly curved lines for hair. Draw a letter ‘c’ shaped finger on the left hand. Draw 3 circles for the eye…some of it is cut off by the glasses so that is why you only see part of the circles.

– Minion on the right: Draw a letter ‘U’ shaped pocket with a circle in it. Draw circle buttons.Draw letter ‘M’ shaped hairs as well as a letter ‘v’ shaped hair.

Step 6

 

–  Minion on the left: Draw a diamond (partially unfinished) with a letter ‘c’ inside of it. Draw letter ‘c’ shaped shoes and a letter ‘J’ shape under the right strap. Draw a letter ‘E’ shape on the glasses strap.

– Minion on the right: Draw #3-like shapes for the shoes. Draw a bubble letter ‘M’ inside the pocket. Draw letter ‘J’ shaped right straps. Draw a letter ‘E’ shape on the glasses strap.

Step 7

–  Minion on the left: Turn the diamond / letter ‘c’ shape inside the pocket into a letter ‘G’ shape. Draw a few curved lines…including the curved lines of a banana.

– Minion on the right: Draw a few curved lines as well as a letter ‘L’ shaped pocket.

Step 8

Darken some lines.

Step 9

– I realized that I forgot the left side of the mouth of the evil minion. Draw squiggly hairs inside the evil minion’s hair.
