How to Draw a Cartoon Fish from Word Fish Simple Drawing Tutorial for Kids

Written-Out Step by Step Instructions

(Step 1 – 4) Write the letters f i s H – in the way that we show you in the illustrations.

(Step 5) Draw an upside down letter ‘V’ shape on the top of the ‘H’. Draw 2 curved lines…one between the ‘f’ and ‘i’ and one on top of ‘S’.

(Step 6) Connect the letters together. Draw a curved line on the letter ‘f’ for the smile. Draw a letter ‘V’ shape on bottom of ‘H’ for the fin.

(Step 7) Draw an oval for the eye. Draw the bottom fin by draw a letter ‘w’ like shape (or 2 lines with a sideways letter ‘s’ between them)

(Step 8) Draw an oval in the eye. Draw 2 lines for the middle fin. Draw curved lines in back fin.

(Step 9) Draw curved lines. Draw oval in the eye.

(Step 10) Color the fish in.
