Written Out Step by Step Drawing Instructions
(Step 1) Write out the word love.
(Step 2) Draw a sideways #3 shape over the letter ‘v’ to form a heart shape. Draw an upside down letter ‘v’ shape for the girl’s body (under the letter ‘o’). Draw 2 lines under the letter ‘e’ for the boy’s body.
(Step 3) Draw curved lines for the eyes. Draw letter ‘c’ shape for the ears. Draw sideways letter ‘D’ shape for the boy’s baseball cap rim. Draw a curved line at the bottom of each of the characters.
(Step 4) Draw a sideways letter ‘s’ shape for the girl’s ponytail. Draw the letter ‘l’ a bit longer. Draw a sideways letter ‘D’ for each of their sleeves. Draw a curved line on the boy’s baseball cap and for each of their smiles. Draw 2 curved lines on each of these characters for legs.
(Step 5) Draw a triangle at the top of the letter ‘l’. Draw curved lines for their hair. Draw a line in his baseball cap. Draw letter ‘v’ shape for each of their arms. Draw a sideways letter ‘D’ shape for each of their shoes.
(Step 6) Draw a heart (formed from a letter ‘v’ and sideways #3 shape) for the balloon. Draw 4 curved lines inside of the balloon. Draw a ‘c’ shape in each of their ears. Draw a curved line and a circle behind him for the star of the flower he is holding. Draw a line at the bottom of his pants.
(Step 7) Draw letter ‘u’ shapes for petals on his flower. Draw lines in the balloon to finish off the highlights.
(Step 8) Colorize the picture if you choose to.
