Learn How to Draw Max from The Secret Life of Pets : Simple Steps Drawing Lesson

Written-Out Step by Step Drawing Instructions

(Step 1) Draw letter ‘U’ shape.

(Step 2) Draw an oval shape for the body. Draw a line at the top of the ‘U’ shape.

(Step 3) Draw uppercase letter ‘D’ shaped ears. Draw a curved line connecting the head to the body.

(Step 4) Draw curved lines connecting the ears to the head. Draw odd-shaped ovals for the eyes. Draw lines for the legs.

(Step 5) Draw ovals inside of the eyes. Lightly draw curved lines for the guidelines of the collar (these will be erased later). Draw a curved line for the tail and a letter ‘J’ like shape for the back thigh.

(Step 6) Draw a line on the forehead and a circle in each eye. Draw 2 ovals in the nose. Draw a line for the mouth. Draw half a rectangle on collar. Draw a sideways letter ‘v’ shape on collar and a circle and 2 lines below it. Draw a sideways letter ‘J’ shape for the tail. Draw 2 lines for each back leg. Drawa sideways #3 shape for front feet.

(Step 7) Draw two #3 shapes to finish up the bone on his collar. Draw a letter ‘c’ shape for each back foot. Draw a curved line between both front legs. Draw eye brows…one of them looks like a checkmark shape. Draw a letter ‘L’ shape between both eyes.

(Step 8) Draw lines for toes. Finish up collar and other details. Write “Max” on collar bone.
