Written-Out Step by Step Directions

(Step 01) Lightly draw a grid so you get the proportions correct.

(STEP 02) Draw a sideways “C”-like shape for Luz’s head.

(STEP 03) Draw Luz’s chin and a bit of her nose.

(STEP 04) Draw a question mark shape for Luz’s lip. Draw a backward #17-like shape for her neck.

(STEP 05) Draw a backward #3-like shape for her nose and top lip on Luz. Draw a sideways “C” shape for King’s head.

(STEP 06) Draw a backward “C” shape for Luz’s ear. Draw a “V” shape for some of her hair. Draw sideways “M”-like shapes on the side of King’s face.

(STEP 07) Draw a curved line and a sideways “V” shape on Luz. Draw 2 big circles on King’s face.

(STEP 08) Draw a sideways “V” shape, 2 curved lines, and a circle on Luz. Draw 2 sideways #7 shapes on King.

(STEP 09) Draw 2 curved lines on each eye. Draw a curved line that curves in and then out on Luz’s hair.

(STEP 10) Close all of the eyes with curved lines. Draw a curved line for Luz’s eyebrow. Draw an upside-down “?” shape on Luz’s face. Draw “V” shapes on King’s face.

(STEP 11) Draw a curved line on the bottom and top of King’s head. Draw sideways #3 shapes too. Draw a bunch of curved lines on Luz.

(STEP 12) Draw a line on King’s left horn. Draw an “M”-like shape for his right horn. Draw curved lines at the bottom of his face. Draw a sideways “U” on the side of Luz’s eyebrow. Draw a “U” shape on her collar.

(STEP 13) Draw a curved line and a “V” shape in the middle of King’s face. Draw a curved line below his face. Draw a backward “C” shape for Luz’s shoulder. Draw a slanted “L” shape for one of her arms.

(STEP 14) Draw 2 curved lines on King’s collar. Draw another slanted “L” shape for one of Luz’s arms.

(STEP 15) Draw lines over his face horns. Draw curved lines on his collar. Draw the bottom of Luz’s arm.

(STEP 16) Draw a sideways “?” shape on King’s nose. Draw lines on the side of his mouth. Draw a hill-like shape for her hand. Draw a curved line on her shirt.

(STEP 17) Draw a curved line on King’s nose and a half-circle on his collar. Draw 2 lines and a sideways #7 shape for her hand. Draw an oval for the bottom of her shirt.

(STEP 18) Draw some curved and straight lines.

(STEP 19) Draw the finger lines. Draw a curved line for King’s knee. Draw 2 curved lines for the top of Luz’s pants. Draw a backward #7 shape in between her legs.

(STEP 20) Draw another bunch of curved lines.

(STEP 21) Draw the bottom of his foot and a curved line.

(STEP 22) Draw a bunch of “V”-like shapes.

(STEP 22) Draw a curved line on the bottom of the open nails. Draw a curved line for his tail.

(STEP 23) Draw a curved line for his tail.

(STEP 23) Draw zig-zags on the tail.

(STEP 24) Erase grid and other lines that you don’t need anymore.

(STEP 25) Color in.
