How to Draw Calvin and Hobbes from the Comic Strip Calvin and Hobbes with Easy Step by Step Drawing Tutorial

Step 1

First, lightly draw a big oval with two smaller ovals for the ears.

Step 2

Draw the guidelines around the face just like the illustration above. Re-draw the ears a bit and draw backwards letter ‘J’ shapes for Hobbes eyes.

Step 3

Lightly draw a sideways number ‘2’ shape and draw an oval for the nose and an upwards curved line for his smile.

Step 4

Draw a triangle and a backwards ‘R’ shape in his ears and then draw some zig-zags on the side of his face that looks like a letter ‘V’ or letter ‘Z’ shapes.

Step 5
